Las Vegas Family Says 10ft Snake Slithers into Their Home, Creates Chaos

A Las Vegas family is still trying to wrap their heads around the unexpected surprise that slithered its way into their home - a 10-foot snake! The snake, which was later identified as a non-venomous ball python, created chaos in the household when it appeared out of nowhere.

The Uninvited Guest

The family, who wishes to remain anonymous, said that they were in the middle of their daily routine when they noticed something unusual. "We were all just going about our day, and suddenly we heard this weird hissing sound," said the mother. "At first, we thought it was just a stray cat or something, but then we saw it - a massive snake slithering across the floor!"

The Snake's Origins

The family has no idea where the snake came from or how it ended up in their home. They didn't notice any open doors or windows, and they didn't see anyone bringing the snake inside. "It's like it just appeared out of thin air," said the father. "We're still trying to figure out how it got in here."

The Aftermath

The family quickly called a local animal control service to come and remove the snake. The service was able to safely capture the snake and release it back into the wild. The family was left shaken but relieved that the situation was resolved without any harm.

Prevention is Key

This incident serves as a reminder to always be vigilant and aware of potential intruders in your home. Whether it's a snake, a raccoon, or any other animal, it's essential to take steps to prevent unwanted visitors from entering your home.

What You Can Do

To prevent snakes and other animals from entering your home:

  1. Seal all openings: Check your home for any gaps or openings around doors, windows, and vents.
  2. Use door sweeps: Install door sweeps or weatherstripping to prevent animals from slipping inside.
  3. Trim trees: Trim trees and bushes near your home to reduce the likelihood of animals jumping into your yard.
  4. Keep your home clean: Keep your home clean and tidy to reduce the attractiveness of your home to animals.
