Millennials are sharing the most cringe-worthy fads and trends they followed back in the day

The nostalgia! Millennials are sharing the most cringe-worthy fads and trends they followed back in the day, and it's a trip down memory lane. From popped collars to whale tails, these trends may have been cool at the time, but they're definitely laughable now.
One  user, shared their regret over wearing sweatbands on their wrist, chain wallets, and safety pins everywhere. Another user, reminisced about the baggy pants of the late '90s and early 2000s, which were so loose they looked like they belonged on a different body.
Frosted tips, anyone? Someone confessed to sporting this iconic hairstyle, along with bowling shirts with flames on them. And who could forget the infamous "two polos with both collars popped" look, as shared by someone else.
The list goes on: jeans so long they became tattered, trucker hats, whale tails (where your thong was visible above your low-rise jeans), jeans under dresses, and even typing errors (thank goodness there's no record of those high school communications!).
Other notable mentions include body glitter, snorting Pixy Stix sugar, lace-up low-rise pants, gaucho pants, and wide circle belts. And who could forget planking at the summit of Mt. Kilimanjaro or posting "rawr I'm a dinosaur xD" on social media?
These fads may have been silly, but they're a reminder of the fun and creativity of our youth.
