This statement comes after the news that a dead parasite, dubbed a "worm," was discovered inside his brain in 2010. Kennedy described the incident in a 2012 deposition, stating that the parasite was likely contracted during his travels in Africa, South America, or Asia.
Despite the incident, Kennedy's campaign has assured that he is fit for the White House, citing his robust physical and mental health.
