The wife of a South Carolina preacher may have been murdered

Friends of Mica Miller, the 30-year-old wife of a South Carolina preacher, have shared a chilling conversation they had with her just days before her death. Mica was found dead in a North Carolina state park with a bullet wound, and her estranged husband, John-Paul Miller, claims she died by suicide. However, her friends and family suspect foul play, and a police report accuses John-Paul of "grooming" Mica for years.
The friends, a husband and wife couple, told People that Mica was scared and wanted to live. "She looked us in the eye and said, 'I'm scared. I want to live,'" the husband recalled. These words have been haunting him since her death. Mica's family has also claimed that she was abused by John-Paul and had warned them that if she was found dead with a bullet wound, it would be his doing.
Mica served John-Paul divorce papers just two days before her death, and her friends say she was excited about starting a new life. "She started dreaming about her new life," the wife of the friend couple said. However, her dreams were tragically cut short.
The police investigation is ongoing, but Mica's friends and family are convinced that something doesn't add up. They believe that John-Paul's claim of suicide is suspicious and that he may have been involved in her death. As the investigation continues, Mica's loved ones are left to grapple with the chilling conversation they had with her just days before her death, and the haunting words that she wanted to live.
