Jordan's Foreign Minister Ayman Safadi has urged nations to apply pressure on Israel to prevent a ground invasion of Rafah in southern Gaza.
In a statement on X on Monday, Safadi emphasized the urgency of preventing an attack on Rafah, warning that it would result in another devastating massacre. Additionally, he expressed concern about radical elements within the Israeli government that are escalating tensions in the West Bank.
Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu recently announced plans for a ground offensive into Rafah, asserting that such action is necessary for a decisive victory over Hamas. Rafah, located in the southern part of Gaza, is currently home to approximately 1.5 million Palestinians who have sought refuge there amid escalating conflict in the region.
