Most young voters are allergic to Biden

President Joe Biden is facing a growing problem with young voters, who are increasingly dissatisfied with his presidency and the direction of the country. A recent CNN poll found that Biden trails Donald Trump among young voters aged 18-34 by 11 percentage points, and a majority of young voters (68%) view his presidency as a "failure".
Young voters are a crucial demographic for Democrats, but Biden is struggling to connect with them. The poll found that only 37% of young voters are satisfied with the candidates they have to choose from, and many are looking for alternative options. Robert F. Kennedy Jr., who is running as an independent, has significant support among young voters, with 21% saying they would vote for him.
Biden's handling of the Israel-Hamas war is a major issue for young voters, with 81% disapproving of his actions. This is a significant problem for Biden, as young voters are a key constituency for Democrats.
The poll also found that young voters are unhappy with the direction of the country, with only 38% saying they are satisfied with their personal financial situation. The Harvard University poll of young Americans ages 18-29 found that fewer than 1 in 10 said the nation was headed in the right direction, and 58% said the country was going "off on the wrong track". This is a significant decrease from previous years, and suggests that young voters are increasingly disillusioned with the political system.
Biden's struggles with young voters are a significant problem for Democrats, as they are a key constituency for the party. If Biden is unable to connect with young voters and address their concerns, it could have significant implications for the Democratic Party's chances in the 2024 election.
