U.S. Secret Service officer involved in a fight with fellow agents

A U.S. Secret Service officer was reportedly "removed from their assignment" this week after allegedly starting a brawl with fellow agents in Kamala Harris' security detail. The incident is said to have occurred around 9 a.m. Monday at Joint Base Andrews, just outside of Washington. Although Harris was not present during the altercation, she was en route to the area when the incident allegedly occurred.

The officer involved in the altercation has not been named by authorities, and Harris has not publicly commented on the matter. According to a report by the Washington Examiner, the officer in question was armed and "became aggressive with other agents" before being subdued, handcuffed, and escorted away by medical personnel.

The specific cause of the altercation has not been disclosed, and the Secret Service has not responded to requests for information from news outlets. Despite the incident, Harris proceeded with her planned departure from the base to New York City for an appearance on The Drew Barrymore Show, which reportedly went ahead without delay.
