Ongoing hostilities in Middle-East

The Israel Defense Forces (IDF) reported that about 35 rockets were fired from southern Lebanon into the area of Ein Zeitim in northern Israel on Monday. The IDF responded by attacking the source of the rocket fire, as well as targeting terrorist sites in southern Lebanon. Fortunately, there were no casualties reported from the rockets launched from Lebanon.

In response to the incident, Hezbollah claimed responsibility, stating that it bombarded the command headquarters of the Third Infantry Brigade of the 91st Division in the Ein Zeitim base with tens of Katyusha rockets.

This exchange of fire between Israel and Hezbollah is part of ongoing tensions in the region, which have resulted in the displacement of tens of thousands of Lebanese and Israeli residents from their homes over recent months. Both sides have engaged in cross-border attacks, with Israel using artillery, jets, and drones, while Hezbollah has utilized its arsenal of rockets and missiles.

A correction has been made to the post to accurately reflect that the rockets were fired by Hezbollah from Lebanon.
